Any known ACM issues?

Hi,

As per the thread title I'm wondering if there are any known issues with the LR ACM iPod kit? Ever since I had mine fitted I've had no end of electrical gremlins, usually manifesting itself with a 'Terrain Response System Not Available' error and then a reboot of the touch screen display.

After looking at the fault codes using the IIDTool, and examining the workshop manual to see how things plug together, I think the fault is with the ACM kit. Well, technically I traced it back to the IHU under the glovebox (I could give a lengthy explanation as to why I think this is....) but the ACM was recently installed and connected to it so I'm going to blame that!

So, anyone else had any problems?

Thanks,
Mavester
P.S. Latest fun issue is that the car will still think the engine is on and the car is in an undefined gear when it's clearly off. This means that you can't start the car until the battery is disconnected and reconnected!
P.P.S My wife has instructed me to get rid of the car or my man lumps will be forcibly removed!

Mavester..

Have you tried to disconnected the ACM MOST cable connector that you plug back into the CD unit (the one that the ACM MOST Cable piggy backs into during installation of the ACM) and re-plug it back in firmly?

Others on here will know if that is relevant (ie is the MOST cable a continuous loop integrating the various systems?) sorry if that's a red-herring, but just a thought.

Thanks for the reply. It's a good suggestion. I rarely have enough time for this sort of thing (2 small kids) but I'll have to do it before I go away next week.

Do you know if there's an easy way to drop the lower glovebox down to allow access without removing it?
