AGAIN!!!

Censored Censored Censored
Driving towards Paris from mid France yesterday morning more worried about the rough crossing then with no warning total loss of drive no gears Censored all.
I have never had such an Censored unreliable piece of crap.
thank god for having euro recovery. finally got home at 3.30 this morning.
Third time gearbox/drive gone.
Piece of Censored still in Paris somewhere hope they burn it! Mine was a blue one! Smile

Seems very variable quality in these gearbox rebuilds.

Mine was done 60,000 miles ago - seems ok so far (fatal last words).

AGAIN!!!

Hi Kurt
Thie rebuild was circa £3k including a new cooler the rebuilder insisted on. Had the new???
but had to be returned to the refurbishers?? torque convertor fail after 8 months.
will not be going there if I ever get it back! Mine was a blue one! Smile

Anyway....Andy3681, very sorry to hear about your gearbox problems.

Although my car has been 'maintenance intensive' it's only broken down twice, once when a garage hadn't tightened a battery terminal and it wouldn't start, and another when a dodgy injector wouldn't let the engine start - it had been warning me for weeks.
