Sorry if this has already been covered.

Is there any way to put my own labels on to the radio station presets? The presents have either the radio frequency or some radio texts which seems to be related to the song played when the station was first saved as a preset. The owners manual was not helpful. Of course, some stations come up with good, useful labels, but others don't.

Oh, to be clear, I'm talking about standard analog AM and FM stations, not DAB.

if you have the rds switched on then you'll get the radio station ident, if you havent then possibly you'll get allsorts. ... - .- -.

Unfortunately, unlike Europe, RDS, which us switched on, isn't supported by all radio stations over here. That's why I want my own labels.

You could use some stickers and write name of station on and stick on over each preset  Present :2008 TDV8 HSE
Gone Audi A5 2.7TDI
Gone Discovery 3 HSE
Gone Mercedes CLK
Gone Range Rover 2.5 DSE

Or write to the radio stations and ask them to rename themselves to the number of the preset?
