Bit of a left field request chaps, but do we have amongst us, or do we know a Chartered Surveyor who can produce an accurate drawing for submission to the Land Registry?

I've agreed to buy a small part of the neighbour's back garden and I need a surveyor to draw up an accurate plan, probably including a North Point for reference. Not a massive piece of work from what I can tell but beyond my own capabilities by a long way.

I Am a chartered surveyor, but to be honest its a long time since I have measured anything accurately!

Google a company called greenhatch, they have done a bit of work on a planning application to me and seem to be pretty reasonable, and accurate.

Failing that www.rics.org and search for one local to you! There is nothing that can't be fixed with a hammer😜😜

If the land is not too complicated, it may be easier to download a copy of the land registry title plan and draw the section you are buying into that, costs a few quid for the plans www.landregistry.gov.uk

Alternatively get the promap for the area and use that as the starting point for the plan, larger scale than land reg so can be a bit more accurate. Any building design/cad/architect should be able to print it to scale for a few quids. You can download the section you need from primal website but will need a cad program to get it to scale on paper i thinks. There is nothing that can't be fixed with a hammer😜😜

Hi, if you need anything drawn up then please let me know, I am a CAD tech, Normally for this sort of thing I can import the map into CAD, and with a few check sizes, scale it to full size and trace over it, then you end up with a CAD drawing that you can do with what ever you want.
