I think some of you may well recognise the car, it is a 5.0L Supercharged Autobiography and is actually Ipanema Sand although it looks a bit grey in the evening light. Having washed it the body/paint isn't as perfect as the outgoing car but then I haven't started throwing money at it yet Very Happy Geoff

So the next thing is side steps - SWMBO has spoken.. Car came with mud flaps and the end game is a set of deployables (when Dan gets another job lot in) but what do people think about these in the interim?

I can't imagine there being anything wrong with those, but don't you fancy some that look like original equipment ?

But then I suppose the deployable ones don't go into the front mudflaps, so perhaps the ones in my link will not be of use due to having to drill the front wing lower panel....... 2011 Range Rover Vogue SE 4.4 TDV8

Incredibly nice! Thumbs Up

On the subject of steps, my view is to speak back to SWMBO and save yourself a lot of money. Spend it instead on a weekend away for you both.

My wife is 5ft 4" without heels and has no problem at all getting into my SC. Si. <This is my name.

Still need a drool icon.....

Those tubes look quite long so may interfere with the flaps in any case so worth checking. Have just taken off a set of stainless tubes, and the car looks so much cleaner, lines wise, without them...... There is nothing that can't be fixed with a hammer😜😜

Thanks guys for all the kind words, I've got to say I do like the clean lines without any steps, we'll see.

Conor:
It uses twice the fuel, goes like a rocket and has toys like RSE and iPod integration, I also won't need to do a facelift Very Happy . I already have relaquered the passenger wingmirror, fitted sill protectors, bought a new rear view camera, new mats, some coloured balm for the leather. Noticed some corrosion along bottom of tailgate (hopefully LR will fix this time), need a new spare key, towbar and it says it needs a service on the dash (but it's just had one). I don't know if it's got a FBH and wether I need a key fob for that? I also need to get my IIDTool reset for the new VIN - so much to do, good job I have plenty of time.
Still waiting for the DVLA to transfer the number. Geoff
