Guys. Sorry for the question but I wanted one for a while and purchased as soon as Stan posted. Can anyone advise what card to buy?

Cheers

Guys

I was lucky enough to buy one for the other halfs FF from Stans link.

Ive noticed the link is back up on the HotUKDeals website. But seems the link isnt going through. Will keep trying.

http://www.hotukdeals.com/deals/mini-0801-...ld-2009086

I want to buy another for my Merc, but is it worth buying the GPS bases at £13 each? Or get the £75 803 for mine and leave the non gps in the FF? Is the GPS that much superior or will it only come into effect to prove a location when an incident occures?

May have contradicted myself on that post.. What i meant was the £30 0801 non gps is a cheap little starter unit. But is the GPS version that much superior? If so id consider buying another with a base or upgrading to the 0803[/url] Accept, some days your the pigeon, some days your the statue!

I had a think about this when I bought my one. It arrived yesterday by the way.
Do you really need to show gps coordinates on the recordings? I don't think so. If there is an incident the video will be evidence enough of the location. Showing the speed might be a double edged sword. If you were 2mph over the limit then you might be liable as well if there was an incident.... Previously..

Mine turned up yesterday too! Gonna fit it this weekend hopefully. Looks a good toy! Clear pic!
Have used a 32g card and played with the settings. Changed something from 0-1-3-5. Something about times! Lol

It seems to start recording as soon as it gets power so not sure what the motion detecter is for.

I'm unsure on the gps need too! Few good points there! To be honest I brought the 0801 because it was so cheap. Upgrading and upgrading kind of negates the purchase. Accept, some days your the pigeon, some days your the statue!

well nearly a year of non problematic ownership of this 0801 and i got the 'last file cant be saved' message come up because of the battery failing ..
ordered a replacement battery [2] from china and fitted one yesterday and all is well again ...
i also drilled some more air holes for better ventilation and heat dispersion.. ... - .- -.

No issues with mine or the cheaper camera on the rear either. If it dont work.......burn it!

If the IId tool cant fix it.......burn the FF.

If the FF cant be fixed......buy a Land Cruiser!

If the LC cant be fixed..............................................BUY a horse !!
