Having had no heated front seat for twelve months plus due to wire burnt has any one tried a heated pad wired up to the old plug to complete circuit? Can't remember if it's the earlier or later seats where the pads are separate from the actual squab leather. Worth a look to see if the heating pad is available separately?

Just looked, later seats have separate heater..... There is nothing that can't be fixed with a hammer😜😜

Mines a 2003 my and my drivers seat doesnt heat up either, called the main stealers for a price on heated pads, turns out the elements on my seats come fixed to the leather, so to get it working, i need new leather for the seat, and the cost, just under £900.00 per seat !!!!!

If anyone can find a cheaper alternative can you please let me know ................

Have you tried looking for a second hand seat base from one of the RR breakers in the right colour? Plenty on ebay for less than £100 - might be the most cost effective option Current Fleet:-
