Keep an eye on Aldi. They occasionally have some great deals on diy style compressors and accessory kits all for very little money.

I have both light duty diy stuff and commercial style - the light duty "rubbish" gets used all the time and just keeps on working without any servicing whatsoever Thumbs Up

The link in my thread above is old. Here is the current listing, and at less than £80 it's a steal. Others say it won't run industrial stuff, but it's not really meant to at that spec.

Mine is ace for inflating tyres on the rr

New Zealand 2010 Range Rover Autobiography 5.0 SC V8 Galway Green

I have a small 12 V for the 2006 that I used a lot (one of the tyres kept deflating over a 3 week period) and I have another here (bought in the local supermarket) that I use for bikes and car. Ideal, small unit, dirt cheap and does the job perfectly.

I also have a tyre repair kit that I always carried with me in Nigeria, just in case.

Pretty sure Halfrauds and the likes have them. MY 2010 5.0 SC Galway green and sand interior!!
Have the Faultmate MSV2 Extreme to be tinkering with the settings etc. !!

Are the small ones not a totally different requirement to a 240v air compressor ?

Just wondered what the goal was ?

I got mine because I didn't want to start the car up to inflate the tyres. I found the battery wasn't brilliant if I ran my big truck air compressor from the cigarette lighter socket without the engine running. Hence I bought the Wolf unit.

Are we considering a smaller one running from the car 12v socket ?

It was just that when we posted links up, he said they were just the job, as he didn't want to run tools.

That means he's looking at 240v only..........

......or is he ?

Perhaps you are right........
