the OE venture cam was made for this job,..i gather that you havnt got one?

have you looked to see if there is a dock in the upper glove compartment, if there is one then its just a matter of buying the cam..

I have been debating this issue myself but for my caravan although it's more for hitching up than when towing but I could do both. I have a venture cam but don't want to have to keep attaching it every time.

Yes i have the venture cam set up for hitching [no trail assist for the fatty] and also if needed, outside the back of trailer when reversing. I find it easier.
