The best way I can describe it is that the car is bounced about front and rear and there is a read out that appears on their screen.

The screen is mounted on the wall adjacent and has the readout for the various tests undertaken, eg, emissions.

I will have to pay more attention the next time.

I don't know how it compares with the current MOT as it is a number of years since I put a car through one. (about 20 in fact) John

Just did my 1934 Talbot. French CT man:
" hydraulic brakes?"
"No"
"Cable?"
"Yes"
"That's OK then"
"Please drive your car on the ramp"
"Hmm looks very good"
Ramp down
"That's OK then"

That was the test... Not even 3 minutes...now the paperwork... Took me 20 minutes
Now the car is MOT'd for 5 years.....
France....? But the food and the weather is great, still sitting outside it's 26 ....
