Fortunately (or unfortunately) the height sensors are not (AFAIK) a simple potentiometer (well it is a LR afterall so it would not be that simple)

They use a "Hall Effect" Transducer - now to save me trying to remember my 20+ year old electronics, there is a fairly good wiki on the principle.

Wow! moving magnets! i suppose that they did that to improve the reliability and get around the problems connected with a potentiometer,

I’m receiving the cross articulation error, and am on bump stops. m I able to drive a mile(slowly) to the mechanic and his way? It’s the redone driver side that is the problem.

At your own risk, the wheels may rub and if you turn you can rip the front wings (fenders) off or damage them, best to get it on a flat bed recovery truck.. Thumbs Up Pete
