Can you 'turn on' or retro-fit cornering lights?

This might be a really stupid question....but if my car wasn't spec'd with cornering lights from new, can I activate them? Is there additional hardware needed, or do LR just charge you for switching that functionality on when you tick that option at the dealers?

I had them in my last car and they were very useful as I'm out in the sticks.....missing them on this car now....

(although I seem to have gained a remote heater instead and that is brilliant!) Laughing

Your car should have them sir... You drive an SC yes? If so its a VSE model which came with them as standard...

Do you have bulbs in the cornering light units? Halogen bulbs in where the side lights are or a chrome blanking plug?

SC is off the road at the moment....gave a loan of it to my brother and he fried the engine (look out for my next post which will be "anyone have a spare SC engine?").

Anyway....I got another car yesterday as I need transport. I picked up an 07 TDV8 Vogue locally, hence the lack of cornering lights.

Hmmm.....if I can't get an engine then I may have a complete car to rob some bits off.... Big Cry

I honestly don't know as they have an ECU and are controlled via many things in the car... Haven't looked thoroughly but have not noticed anything in the CCF files Crying or Very sad

Yes, I read a few threads where people had been complaining that they found them distracting and you guys wanted to turn them off !

Personally I find them great as where I live I take a few sharp turns getting into the courtyard.....and normally my two mental cases are running around (the dogs, not the kids), so I find them really useful.
