United Kingdom 2003 Range Rover Vogue 4.4 V8 Santorini Black
less than two weeks after GB rebuilt trans failsafe prog...

Hi Chaps.
Following on from my thread about needing the box rebuilt. I'd spoken to a pal round the corner who is also a Landrover nut and a fellow FF owner. he recommended Hi-range in burton for their work and customer service.

so had FF booked in and to be fair Bob has been great. Run me to and from the train station, kept me updated throughout.
anyway. recon box fitted and all seemed ok.
FF drove nice. but this week I've noticed a few issues.

delay in the FF moving when reverse is selected seems to take a few seconds and some revs. - poss oil level?
occasional clunk / jolting forward when pulling away from a stand still - like clutch suddenly gripping.
a rattle coming from the TC housing? I've taken a vid of this tonight

Twice in the last two days when driving in manual mode the trans failsafe message has popped up. this has so far reset when I've turned the FF off overnight. never done this in auto mode.

shuddering / vibration - like TC is knackered? - assured that a recon TC was fitted - not sure if this is related to the rattling?

I'm not overly concerned as there is a 12 month unlimited mileage warranty on the box, but I'd rather it behaved.

I've spoken to bob and he's asked me to monitor it for a week.

I cant see things improving so needless to say it'll be going back sooner rather than later.
