Just had mine back after its MOT with various previously documented bits needing done. Had a look at the invoice and they charged £40 per hour for labour, I think this is good, is it????

That's what I get charged - someone told me that the local main dealer charged over £110.00 per hour - so at £40.00 very happy!! Where about in Scotland are you ?

Mine's $C100/hr (about £50), so I think you've got a deal if he's good.

Local MD charges £130ph

By the job cus he knows his stuff without looking at job book times, looking back 30ish is about the average he charges me  _____________________________________________________

have used a Mobile Mechanic in Wolverhampton ( works only on land Rovers) charged £15 per hour. Did 2 Air Suspension bags, door window regulator and a few other bits. In london i have paid upto £65 per hour.

Wow!!! That is very cheap sir...

£62 an hour for me. Considerably less than LR charge, so I'm happy!

£45 ph in soggy east Kent - only does what is required and keeps you informed.

My local Indy is £45 per hour

So how much are garages and main dealers charging now??

Mine charges about £50 an hour but most of the time I rent a ramp and do it myself... Pete
