I noticed a mark on my drive, no bigger than palm of your hand and clear. Had a look underneath and seems to be coming from the transmission filter?

It's going in for a full gbox/diff/oil service over the weekend but this has only just begun to happen, any ideas ? Is this where I put the car details and a bit about myself ?........

Doubt it will be transmission related if its clear - IIRC transmission fluid is red, are you aware the air-con system discharges condensed water from the air via pipes either side of the g/box? - probably that I'd think

seal on the electrical connector has probably failed, search, think it is a fairly common problem..... (or that could be gm box, but seem to recall ZF) Quite a cheap fix esp if you are having the box filter and oils done.

hence why it is oily round it, if it was the drain plug it would be unlikely to have tracked upwards  There is nothing that can't be fixed with a hammer😜😜

I think it's the ZF. The filter kit and all associated areas are being done. I'll add this to the list !

have look at that thread, you can see how the seals fail. There is nothing that can't be fixed with a hammer😜😜

Great read, though way beyond my skillset. It does look a standard problem, mechatronic sleeve leaking. As the filter is coming off I'll have them check and change whatever is needed.
