FBH followed by Trans Failsafe Prog

Hi all
Wondering if its a reasonable assumption that me using the FBH the other morning caused a Trans Failsafe Prog a few seconds after first moving off. I figured it may have been due to a lower battery voltage but wondering if the heater had caused an overtemp of the trans oil? Once turning off and back on again, the temp guage was immediately up to normal, which I wasn't expecting. I've driven 200 miles since with no issues.
Does anyone have any similar experiences?
Cheers
Robbo

Probably just a gremlin from using the FBH and having an old battery. I've had a similar experience before, from having an old battery.

Got a new battery two years ago and recently, with the onset of colder mornings, am now starting to get the usual 'HDC Inactive' bong every now and then.

Check how old your battery is and replace if needed. Thumbs Up

Thanks, that's what I was thinking too, although the V8 cranks no problem. Will have a look at the battery age and take it from there.
Robbo.
