England 2012 Range Rover Vogue SE 4.4 V8 Santorini Black
Battery Recharge Warning Light

A red battery recharge warning light has now appeared three times.Once the ignition is turned off and left for a few moments it disappears.

When it first happened my dealer recommended that as it was red and to do with the battery I should pull over and get Land Rover assist out(it was out of normal office hours ).It disappeared when i left the car overnight.

Has anyone else experienced this ?

Should I be worried ?

I have had this a few times recently with the message Charging System Inactive. It goes away after a couple of minutes and doesn't appear to be causing any issues at this stage.

Anyone know if it is a known problem and if any fix is documented?

In case anyone else has had this issue, apparently it is a known problem and requires a new module and yet another software upgrade to put right Rolling Eyes . Just had mine done.
