Engine rebuild

mrs pulls on the drive last night......rattling like mad (engine) not her.... Shocked ...

bit of research ,,, sounds like vanos issues...anyway had a rebuild quote of these guy...

was wondering if anyone had dealings with them at all... free use of "RSW" all comms to anyone nearby

A word of caution - do a search on Google - http://www.rac.co.uk/forum/showthread.php?...ce-engines

Not sure if that link works but I looked into these last year when i had a problem with my old V8 Disco.

Sounds like they give a price then decide there is a lot more work (like double the cost)

I've not used them and my view is only from reading reports on google etc.

thanks.... your the 2nd to tell me that in the last 10 mins,,,, best get back to a bit more research then....

raided my the met last year apparently... was also on sky news concerning fraud free use of "RSW" all comms to anyone nearby

I would highly recommend Ivor Searle they supplied a recon engine for our VW LT van, we went on to do over 100,000 miles in it without a single problem. Thumbs Up

I thought they were on watchdog, could be wrong but 1st choice engines rings a bell, stay clear.
