I had the same problem. Gave up in the end and put the originals back in.

Both mine went, no error. Put in LEDs and it's fine. No resistance error as far as I know. You remind me of a young me, not much younger mind, perhaps even a little older! |

So, in the same vein - would I be able to put LED's in the rear number plate lights (I think they look much better)??

CEEGEE, the number plate lamps will have to be error free, but they are as cheap as chips, I got 5 for £2.50 from ping pong via fleabay |

Error free bulbs came today for the side lights. Quickly tested them in the mirrors and they work fine. So I will be ordering a few more and think I will get the number plate ones as well.... addicted |

NO DONT prise them off Mark... Open the glasses holder in the front and you will see 2 8mm headed bolts up inside, remove them and then the whole console will pull down from the roof... The front & rear lights are held in place with two crosshead screws from the rear |
