I think he means Discovery 4 update .or 4.5 .

My pal swears his disco 4 knocks the Rangey into a cocked hat for towing his generators around, less bumpy less roll and more general better feel, I said you been drinking the petrol out the blowers or are they a better tow truck |

I think they're probably better. They have a higher nose weight limit.

to be honest, having towed with both, the D4 2.7 is a bit like towing with a td6, a bit slow but very stable. The 3.6 with the trailer on the back is easily as stable and pulls the trailer with ease, though for some reason the trailer knocks around on the tow ball (detachable), but with the caravan on the back i reckon there isn't much in it between the two stability wise and the caravan doesn't bang around on the hitch cos of the stabiliser, afaik they have the same nose weight at 150kg.....

Disco 4's do tow my 3 axle Ifor supremely well. Have not had it on for any distance with the fullfat yet.
