Woke up this morning to find small pool of oil below NSF. Opening engine bay shows some spray from oil filter with engine block and head itself dry.

Anyone else had this before ? Car has just had first decent run (200 miles) since I got it and is in need of service I suspect. Could oil filter be blocked and by pass is causing pressure levels high ?

quite common for the o ring to leak on the 4.4, if it has been re-used or over tightened, new filter and it will come with a o ring, V8 facelift Range Rover Autobiography 22" wheels.

New filter fitted today and engine bay cleaned. Will see what it's like after a run. FWIW the old filter disintegrated when we took it out.

Why do people get these lovely cars and fail to look after them ?
