Resetting ?

Can anyone remember a thread about having to reset the FBH after so many attempts when it fails to work (I've done a search but can't seem to find it )

Or can anyone tell how we go about doing this Thumbs Up

Thanks Thumbs Up

Wish I had this info as I've been trying different things and not had it reset so suppose it wouldn't have worked even if I had got the thing right .......oh well back to the drawing board and to find someone with a iid tool or the like ( no good me having one as I wouldn't have a clue )

If it's locked out the fuse pull won't work. The FBH retains it's memory.

new one on me

fuse pull has reset every one i have worked on, but it is a learning curve and i have been wrong before

3 non starts and they lock out ,power down resets for another 3 goes but it still remembers the last 3 faults if interrogated by diagnostics

could be the cars software locked it out then ?

cheers nige

Well yes, I could be wrong, but with the newer discovery ones and certainly my 2010 ff the fuse pull defiantly doesn't work.

Or maybe it's just circumstance.

My discovery one wouldn't run after battery disconnect and hard reset, fuse pull etc. req iid tool to reset and force fuel purge and test run.

I suppose it depends on the problem I guess.
