South Africa 2009 Range Rover Westminster TDV8 Stornoway Grey
General Grabber GT's

Hi All,

Have had these fitted for about a month and am quite impressed, very quiet, no problems with lower MPG and they are very sure footed - even on ice. Anyone else running them? The tread pattern is very interesting Surprised Land Rover Addict

Ireland 2002 Range Rover SE 4.4 V8 Oslo Blue

Bought these off Camskill and had shipped to Ireland and fitted prior to Christmas.I have done approx 1500 miles on them and am very happy with them.I was running Hankook Ventus ST prior to them and I thought they are an excellent tyre with over 40000 miles of reliable use.

I have the GT's in 255/55R19.I love the thread pattern which is very distinctive in the snow or mud. They have plenty of thread on them from new, certainly more than the Hankooks.I find them a touch noisier at motorway speeds and fuel economy for my V8 is down about 10% on the GT's.They were excellent in the snow and are sure footed hitting standing water on the motorway. They roll a little bit more in the corners though.Thread blocks are wide and clear mud but
small stones get stuck in them easily. They were tested in the paddock yesterday with muddy gates pulling a 6ft roller and I didn't get stuck so top marks there.Didnt try that with Hankooks.

I bought these as they were cheaper than the Hankooks at the time as the Ventus ST is a very popular tyre. They replaced I believe the Grabber UHP,maybe Andy can tell us and that was an excellent tyre so we'll see how these go but am very happy so far and would highly recommend them.

iPhone pics...... Thumbs Up
