Good afternoon my 04 td6 is away having its second gearbox rebuild in 3 months at the moment so when I get it back I was thinking of having the gearbox remaped as I have had the engine remaped and it has made the car a whole lot better and want to know if any body has experience of having the gearbox remaped

i thought an engine remap takes into account the gearbox as well.. ... - .- -.

my used td6 came with an installed powerbox. i removed it to try it with standard hp.
much better with the box than without. what i noticed from divers experience is that the
gearbox is "intelligent". it is learning the way you drive. when i reinstalled the tuning box again the
timing when the box changed the gears didn't seem right. after some kilometers of driving
it was as it should be.
