I have the 59 change over model, some bits from both. Just wanted to confirm the model number for the iid required and that it would work.

The forum is awash with IIDTool info. Have you done a search?

alan, i don't really understand what your link points to, just threads about other peoples issues and how to use the iid.

Steve, I was highlighting the IIDTool FAQ which might have been of some help to you. Its most unusual for the guys @Gap not to respond to an enquiry. There's been nothing but praise from everyone who's had a need to contact them. Their support is second to none.

I have an IID, a Multi-VIN Faultmate, and used to own a Hawkeye.

is it not as simple as phoning an iidtool supplier [dan @ duckworths for instance] and asking for a tool for your year FF/vin number... |

A locked out heater can be any thing from trying to start 3 times with low fuel to a burned out glow plug.
