Having a look round to see if the nexen tyres have come down in price, I found this site ...shockingly cheap price for a branded tyre in the sale!

Is that a normal size in your neck of the woods? 285/35R22 is common over here but they do tend to be a tad soft in the sidewall (stay on the flat stuff!!). Personally I've gone 305/40R22 114XL and the ride / handling are superb (sorry to all those that have tired of me praising this set up ![]() |

^^This is my first time buying 22" tires so I have no idea haha. Based on what people are saying here in various threads the options for fitting 22's on our Ranges are 285/35/22 or 285/40/22. I much prefer the 40 because I don't want a skinny sidewall. I want it to look substantial, fill out the wheel well, and provide a comfortable ride....the 35 series tire would provide less for all of those.

So that pic your are running 22's with a 305/40 tire? No rubbing or power steering problems with that setup?

They're 10" rims and pretty sure they're 50 offset - certainly no more!
