I tow an 18ft ifor on mine with a detachable westfalia... Never had any strength issues in 10yrs of 322 ownership Thumbs Up

The reason i flagged up the farmer hitch remark above was because they can be used to pull some massive weights & farmers hitches are usually used in a commercial environment... Whistle

The farmer hitch certainly hasn't put us off.

It is very similar to a NAS 2" receiver hitch so I have a previous drop plate with a NATO hitch which should hopefully fit straight on too.

Got a tintent too weighing 1800kg so its primary role will be towing.

When we turned up the price on show was £35k. They had reduced it only just a few days ago. Having had a major issue with our last cars windscreen and it fitted very badly and leaking if they replace that with gen LR part then we said we would be happy.

I would not worry on the price, I would prefer a car from a main dealer with warranty for a bit more than one without that security, a couple of grand can easily be swallowed up fixing issues on a FFRR. If the dealer is good they are worth their weight in gold and can make owning a FFRR much easier. I have always used Hillendale which has now been taken over by Farnell and I have always received good service. Very Happy

Agree with what you're saying discowill. The warranty is reassuring to have. Hopefully we won't need it. Got a 2008 D3 G4 from LR and had it a year and only the air compressor went but warranty sorted that out.

Sold it and the turbo went in a few months. Luckily the new guy extended the warranty and again all sorted.

As long as they sort the screen with a new gen LR item I'll be happy.
Forgot to mention the last owner had the tracker system fitted to it so hopefully we can get that all setup. Should help with insurance I would have thought.

Dealer is playing hard ball not wanting to sort the screen and telling me just to claim on insurance.

Still think the screen price is a bit high. If they won't do the screen- time to walk away. Plenty of nice examples around. 405 AB exec seats Baltic and Cirrus

And your insurance will fit a replacement screen not a genuine LR one and you will pay the £75.00. Does he know that is fraud because the chip/crack did not happen while the car was owned by you?

That does seem an awful lot of money for the miles it's done, getting on for twice the average mileage, will make a big difference in a few years when you trade it in.....

Don't get drawn in just because it's a nice place to sit, there are plenty out there and it's a buyers market....

(does look very nice though....) Pete
