Courtesy "Range Rover"

Dropped the car off to be serviced this morning and drove home with their courtesy car, A "Range Rover" Evoque. What a dreadful car! I found it very bumpy and noisy, no feel of the road whatsoever through the steering wheel, a disgrace they labeled this as a Range Rover. The only thing that is similar to a Range Rover is the badge. I'd rather have a used L322 than this (E)Joke!

Agree 100% with you CSK! Ours is in at the moment for a new water pump and to fix an oil leak and my wife has an Ewok as a courtesy car, and its crap!!

I really do not understand why these have the name Range Rover on them at all!!

Epokes have their place

Agree about the RR badge totally however the Epoke is a runaway success

They should have called it Land Rover Evoque but Range Rover? Who are they fooling? Lots of people driving these and actually believe they are driving a Range Rover, it devalues the name. But that's another debate.

Devalues the brand but makes them an enormous amount of money.

Talking of the Sport, when I picked up my car they showed me the new SVR which they just had delivered. They started the engine and pressed the button which open the exhaust valves and boy the 550 BHP RS engine does make a nice noise. Not something I would buy and probably not a Range Rover in the true sense of the word but I think this potentially devalues the brand less than the diesel Ejoke I had just driven for two days! I'd rather have an SVR than a Cayenne, that's a fact.

No a courtesy as the name suggests. The rant was about the badge not about the dealer giving me a courtesy car. The car is not what it pretends to be but there are worse cars to drive!
