tracking

Hi everyone.
Having done both my track rod ends, been down stafford to stafford tyres. Girl in their said there is 4 adjustments on the rr its a free check but £25.00 per adjustment. Shocked
does that sound about right. I believe its the hunter hawk 4 wheel track system they have.

4 adjustments...... Rolling Eyes

Front left
toe, castor, camber

Front right
Toe, castor, camber

Total front toe, steer ahead

That's 8 before you get to the rears.....

But usually if you have just had the track rod ends done toe will be all it needs. There is nothing that can't be fixed with a hammer😜😜

Don't know. At national tyres the good gentleman in there said he could do it for £36.00 but couldn't guarantee it as he didn't have the right equipment to do it properly, so well pleased he didn't have my money and was honest. I'll have to ask the question. Let you know how I get on Thumbs Up
Forgot to say my steering wheel is slightly to the left now.

Hunter Hawkeye is the right bit of kit. The car is supposed to be in tight tolerance mode to do the alignment, but realistically unless you have a iid tool you won't be able to do that, so park the car on a dead flat car park and cycle it through the heights just before driving to the tyre depot. There is nothing that can't be fixed with a hammer😜😜
