A Day in the Life...

Those who know me will know that my Range Rover is not a precious shiny metal box sitting on my driveway, it gets used as it was designed.

Here's some pictures of the things we do together ! Very Happy

It started off like this..... Shocked (No mudflaps, lamp guards, side tubes, privacy glass, towbar, smaller wheels)

Out shooting, dogs in the back

Out in the woods for various jobs

I like squeezing it through the trees like this

I put stuff in it like this!

It mostly looks like this....

But sometimes looks like this.....

That Tonga Green colour is starting to appeal to me especially when you see it in it's best suit (last pic) see we couldn't do that up here , somebody would hold us up with the shooter and steal the vehicle along with the dogs ......................... Whistle

Gret pics - great to a vehicle being used as it's meant -

I'm still waiting to hear from dealer on available date for test drive in 4.4 vogue -

If I go for it it will be well used - but well kept also -

Does anyone on here have any pics of RR with winch on and being used - ( only ones i have seen are LR brochure and G4 images )

Cheers

I do like the green - fits well with the use - the one I'm looking at is Blue - - not sure which exact colour - "oslo" possibly

Great pics Thumbs Up It made me ashamed that mine will just be an urban warrior Embarassed

Funny, how I always imagine you to be a fat, old, and a pot belly bloke. Must try to dress like you did in one of your pics, so people might think I have a shotgun/rifle in my boot Twisted Evil Mr. Green

I am inspired by RRUK's photos Thumbs Up Bow down I am at my brothers in Windsor on Christmas Day and he lives in the Great Park so i have to drive down a long track to get to his house. So i am going to buy some Hunter Wellies to match my Barbour and offer to let him put his Bernese Mountain dog in the back and take him for a walk and also do some modest offroading!!! Now all i need is some Shooters in the back and i will feel that i am using my car for its purpose and set me on the way to be a true country gent.

I have decided not to clean my car which is not like me until the end of the Year and see how it looks although i do feel Tonga green is more country than my Silver.

Here's a pic for pre-facelift L322, but I've seen a better pic somewhere else...

Admin note: this post has had its images recovered from a money grabbing photo hosting site and reinstated Mr. Green

So have you had any issues with having dogs in the back with the window film? We have a little dog, who loves looking out of the window. My fear is, that she'll put her paws against the window and scratch the film. 2010 MY Vogue SE TDV8 3.6 Stornoway Grey- fully loaded

I happen to have a Bearded Collie , a Neurotic Collie and a Lahso Apso , the neurotic collie jumps about the backend as if she had a firework up her backside and has quite sharp claws up till now no damage to the tints .

Bearded collie sits on the back seat and looks at the Neurotic mutt as if to say get it up you , look where you sit if you behave.

And the Lahso sits and shivers coz she's a wimp typical Pedigrees not worth a F Censored K ( Teenage Daughters Dog )

Better of with a Heinz Dog ...............

The only time I damaged the film in my last one was when loading something into the car and it scraped against the window, you could hardly see it but of course, I knew it was there.... Discovery 4 HSE
