dont Pretend, that you meant to say 'Proclaimers'

-they walked 500 miles, -to be right at your door,

it was the the Pretenders, Who went 2000 miles..

The Who, could only see for miles.

The Proclaimes, apparently, claim to be the earliest Scottish 'Jedward' outfit.

It's called Guinness Whistle

There used to be a BBC book / documentary, perhaps called Trade Secrets?, that went through old wives tales etc and tested them. Apparently the thing for attracting midges was Guinness - unfortunately you lose the pint unless you fancy some extra protein? Thumbs Up Ed

They do say that the best antidote is Avon Skin So Soft, but of course none of the locals (where men are men and the sheep are scared) can bring themselves to try it (allegedly) Whistle

Not that I'd recommend it but since my stem cell transplant / chemo two things have changed - I now tan rather than burn and midges don't bite. (Although they never used to then went through a few years of them biting and then after the treatment nothing) Very Happy Ed

New Zealand 2010 Range Rover Autobiography 5.0 SC V8 Galway Green

I lived and travelled in New Zealand with the bloody sandflies so I'm sure I would be able to cope with some other form of bloodsucking little Censored Smile. Not to mention Nigeria and Malaysia with their mozzies Evil or Very Mad MY 2010 5.0 SC Galway green and sand interior!!
Have the Faultmate MSV2 Extreme to be tinkering with the settings etc. !!

Or tour round on a yacht. The guy I sailed with said he'd never had a problem in many years of sailing there.
