After checking & clearing codes with hex helping me out with the fault reading, we got two main faults. One was the gearbox selector switch, which is what triggers the "Trans fail safe prog" when you go to reverse/park to drive etc. The other code given was "ambient temp sensor" & the car reads -40c outside.

Ok so far seems I need to get the inhibitor switch for the gearbox as it just keeps going into "trans fail safe" everytime I go from park. I then put it in neutral & turn it off & on, then its fine. Also the oil leak is coming from both vanos seloniod gaskets. So they are my first two jobs. 2004 RR 4.4 V8 Autobiography |
