Thanks Stan, yes as with Buckingham Blue it can look very nice but the fact is its Blue not Black.

Selling Blue cars is quite difficult compared to true Black Java/Santorini.

Thumbs Up

I have one. I normally don't like blue car AT ALL, but this is a very very black colour in real life, and only turn into a bit of blue on certain conditions(normailly its night time under certain light) which makes it very special...
I love it!!!

I was not saying it's not nice!

Its just if you advertise a car as Black and it looks a bit blue when viewed it makes selling a lot harder.

Lots of hard to sell colours look lovely to me....

Sounds a bit like BMWs carbon black. In almost all lights, it's black but under filling station lights, it looks very dark blue. Got - 2017 SDV8 Autobiography in Loire Blue
Had- 2008 TDV8 Vogue SE in Java black
Had - 2007 S/C in Stornoway Grey

Mine is Sumatra with Ivory.

I'd say ask 10 people and at least 9 will say its black, if not all of them.

I knew the car before I bought it and wanted a blue or black one with Ivory so I was always going to be happy with it but I truly thought it was black before I looked closely.

More black than Carbon Black, and far more black than the old Mercedes Blue/black IMHO.

It really needs to be clean and in bright light before you see the blue tinge.

Personally really like it, but then I would say that wouldn't i! 2016 (L405) Autobiography in Black with Ivory - for ULEZ

Personally a true as possible black looks the nuts but is a hard colour to keep nice unless you know how to look after a car. Desirability depends on model and marque. Example would be a jdm newage impreza is far more valuable in the uk in a basic 51e white paint (flat white) than any other colour available world wide. It can push a value to an identical car by up to 2k.

Know nothing about RR colours and popularity Embarassed
