to be frank, i didnt expect a giveaway, but, i guess at least the money is now ring-fenced. maybe potholes are due a review.

as to the old(er) cars, (ie pre2017) hopefully they will remain forever priced, or lowered.

Well at least they've admitted that cars becoming greener have had a negative impact on the coffers which I take as being admittance that it is all aout cash and not the environment.

Also, they say it's unfair drivers of older cars tend to pay more than drivers of newer cars under the enviromental based assessment and they want to re-align this. ABSOLUTE RUBBISH - the lying gits!!! Why have they not altered the existing system then.

Looking good for tax on a used 5 year old 405 in 2022.......
