not a pointless camera to everybody it will enable faceTime which is a cool feature of the i phone 4. I'm wanting to get my 3 year old son an I Pad for x-mas and just hope the new one is avaialable in time.

He's got all them Smile Kids are well spioilt these days. He users my uncles I Pad all the time and would sit for hours playing the games if id let him. Will be an exspensive present for a 3 year old but the full family will be able to use it aswell.

Madness Shocked

You obviously did not see the recent series showing many children that spend 3.30 - 7.30 every day playng XBOX etc and cannot read at the age of 9.....

Not saying you don't control use but (real world) reading books and playing Lego must be a better option for a 3 year old.

Facetime .... pointless gimmick for the poinless camera Smile

I work, for my sins, in the software industry directly associated with the mobile industry. Video phones have been, gone, come back, gone, died, been revived, died again ....

Apples solution is quite comical, restrict it so it can't be used on the 3G network (because we all know it can't handle it, hence the networks selling video phones, then not etc). Maybe if they just added a USB connector we could, oh I don't know... PLUG IN A USB Webcam???

Got to laugh, I have an iPad, it's a great bit of kit, but it does NOT need more bells and whistles to drain it's battery. Land Rover Addict

It is interesting to see how early people introduce children to technology as our son is 15 months. (today)

We as parents made a specific choice when buying the new FFRR to find a Vogue SE without rear screens. Fair enough if others want them, but we don't. I want him to be playing "spot the car" games, number plate spelling games, talking to us or asking "are we there yet?"... Laughing
