So if if you are a lazy sod like me, where would you go to have your car cleaned/detailed, Professional job.

I live near (ish) Junction 9 on the M25, so no more than a hour away.

If you get it done pro say 3 time's a year with wax and all that good stuff, would a general "wash" be significant to keep it looking good.

I know nothing about the different types of waxing/polish, (if there any good) so all info much appreciated.

I really don't want to do it myself, can't be arse'd. Rough costs would be good also.

If you're having a pro detailing job done expect to pay around £150-£250. On my own it takes a weekend to fully detail the RR, inc door shuts, dressing plastic/rubber etc. That's excluding doing any correction work.

So with 2 people you'll be paying for a full days work. This sort of thing you only need to do twice a year though I would say. Before they start putting salt on the roads and then in the spring to get rid of all the winter crap stuck to your paintwork.

Then as long as you wash weekly and use something like aqua wax as a shine top up (used in the drying process) your car should look good all the time.

When shopping around make sure they will be claying, polishing and then applying 2 coats of wax. If they think polishing and waxing are the same thing - move on.

Done properly there's 10 hours work just correcting a FFRR properly. At £30/Hr there's 300 sheets just correcting the swirls.

I've just done a D3 for a customer which took 3 days to get all the swirls out. Not just polished to be shiny but swirl and hologram free, sealed and waxed. Let's just say it wasn't £250

I wasnt including interior, or correction.

Most people quote seperately for correction because it depends on how much time it's going to take.

A clay, polish & wax should not cost more than £250.

I do most of the cooking anyway in all fairness, it's a bit of a hobby/passion.
