Call me cynical but.... Up until about a year ago Clarkson owned half the rights to Top Gear, he then sold these rights to the BBC...

He then has an altercation with a junior producer who doesn't report it... several days later Clarkson reports it and gets the boot...

If he had left Top Gear he would have been blamed for ruining the show etc but this way he gets to leave, do what he wants to and increase his wages.....

One of the only things he said when questioned by the paparazzi was that they should leave Oisin Tymon alone as it was nothing to do with him...

lets bet Oisin gets a job on whatever Clarkson does next... Pete

maybe we will get CH&M doing some proper car stuff now that they are outside the producers control then. Would subscribe to netflix just to see, but at the end of the day i don't have enough broadband!

so i will be stuck with Glenister Kidd Martin, which may well be interesting but i have watched Jodie on the classic car show and I'm not a fan of her presenting style a little bit stiff and awkward, though that could be because she presents opposite Quentin Wilson, Suzy Perry would be better, but that would be tricky with the F1 stuff. I think Mr Glenister would be quite good, I have watched for the love of cars a few times and he is pretty decent in that format, not sure that this would transfer to a magazine style program though, will have to wait and see.

Guy Martin is crazy. Enough said..... Really like his stuff.

One chap I do like on 5th Gear is Jason Plato, I think he comes across really well.

They could of course bring back Tom Wookie Ford and pair him with Jonny Smith, they have good banter on Twitter and have just done a show for US tv, with cars and explosions.....

Local rag near me reported last week Clarkson, Hammond & May were filming near Goodwood and that they may be trying to negotiate the use of the motor circuit for a new series

BBC Top Gear will live on and hopefully with a complete revamp and whoever the presenters are I will give them a chance! - while following the old crew with interest on whatever channel they reappear

Yep I'll be honest. I will protest but will still watch it because I always have. Jodie Kidd is a phenomenal driver better than her male counterparts.
