I have a connector attached to the main battery and use that. You could also use the jump start connections under the bonnet.

I still have the ctek connector from my L322 but don't have the tow bar fitted to this car |

So what's the best battery to connect to the one under the spare wheel or the one behind the side panel? |

I have no idea how they are actually connected, but my assumption is that the smaller one in the side panel is for accessories and the larger one under the spare is the starting battery.

I don't really know either. But if you disconnect one, does the car still start? If you then reconnect it and disconnect the other one does the car start? That should tell you which one the starter battery is. |

Starter battery is the big one. |

Get one of these they start with no lights on dash and last over 12 months with a charge there brilliant, i use for everything
