I'd love if my RRC had a 4.4TDV8 with an 8 speed auto. That would be great.

Unfortunately as it has just failed it's mot on heavy body corrosion it'll now be stripped and turned into a 100" Defender Station Wagon. I might do a few pay and play before hand as she has a full tank of petrol in her. Just need to now get s trailer to move her round.

Wow. Sounds ace. I thought this one might be similar engine wise, ie a current unit, but still, the old V8 does sound well.

Soon to be building a Defender project with a 4.2SC so see no reason why a 5.0 can’t go in!

I'd settle for being able to be a customer at this point......

I did like my old classic. I would have had a 38A had they been better styled and without the rightly or wrongly percieved reliability troubles. I went to Disco 2 as it was a better value package to me at the time. I am really an RR man though. 2011 Range Rover Vogue SE 4.4 TDV8

If you put a TDV8 into a Classic, what management and what gearbox did you use?
