Ah but that means giving up three days of my time to get it done to the level I want, and I am way to lazy for that Razz

so here are the, very poor photo's I took with my iPhone but they should give you an idea of the shine and what not, Roger's ones that he took, I will post the link to his site when he uploads them, they will show the lack of swirls and all that...

So so happy the car just looks amazing, most of the scratches, other than stone chips on the bonnet are history.

just wish I didn't live in such a dusty area damn it, already dusted it twice tonight need to stop!

Very Happy Very Happy Very Happy

Looking good Thumbs Up Thumbs Up

Surely its not a good idea to "dust it" - won't you be wiping all those fine particles back over the paint ?? Although very tempting at times, I never dust mine - am I being paranoid or am I right ??

I think black looks absolutely fabulous when detailed / really clean but they are a pain to keep looking at their very best Thumbs Up

sorry meant to say RE dusting the protection stuff he put on meant dusting is fine and washing myself is fine for 2-3 years with no rinse, the microfibre glove to wash and the huge microfibre towel to dry it (and then wash both) to restore it to how it is now, same for the windows and wheels, all had the same protection treatment...

Looks great, agreed that black looks fantastic when done , heartbreaking when swirl marks come back, that's why I changed to another colour,NEVER DUST THE CAR! Unicorns farts are the only thing that doesn't scratch paint! Mr. Green

And so it begins:-
You'll be using snow foam next to lift the dust off before rinsing and then a proper 2 bucket wash with fine woollen or microfibre noodle wash mitts. You have to do this to reduce cleaning induced swirls on your paintwork.
You'll then buy some extra large soft micro fibre towels to lay on the car to dry it off.
You'll then buy some form of QED, quick exterior detailer, a spray on product to buff up the shine on your car and remove the water marks etc.
You'll then decide to maybe put a layer of wax on your wheels to protect them and while your at it why not put some form of tyre dressing on?
Oh and what about the interior? It goes on and on and on......
If you don't do any of this your professional detail wont last as long as you may think. You have superb paintwork now but you've got to keep on top of it.
Your now stuffed mate. All of the above and a super shiney or a really dirty muddy look. There's no halfway with a dark coloured car Very Happy The bonnet looks great bye the way Thumbs Up
