TPMS - turning it off!

Having read the various threads on here, I am not going to try and repair the system as there seem to be so many varilables, so turning it off seems best! Is it correct that only an IID system will turn it off or will Autologic and other systems work? The system is on a 2008 Vogue SE.

IID works - I haven't tried anything else.

You don't need to buy one though - perhaps a trip to Cam-Tech and pay for a one off update ?

Sorry, same as Alistair. Found a solution and stopped looking. I don't think that JLR dealers can do it.
I agree - the IID is VERY handy.
CTCraig seems to know his way around a car. If he's close, I'm sure he can help you.
Wise decision not to bother with fixing it.
