Probably not worth while to organise such event in ffrr, due to only having 5 active members Whistle
I'm sure you'll be more than welcome to join their off road days...

Regarding being an outcasts, I think its more like they'll be humbled by our presence!! Mr. Green

Yes, I feel we might dampen their fires a little. Imagine if you were a very proud D3 owner, showing it off to all and sundry, then someone rolls up in the FFRR Vogue, worth more than double theirs. They might be a bit miffed!

I've read lots of posts on the D3 site and I have to say, IMHO, there's a lot of spanners there. The Sport guys are much more fun, and for the record, I've never read the FL2 forum.

I don't really see the point in 'meets' on the whole. I went to one early on when I had the Sport Supercharged, mainly cos I knew I had the best one and everyone else had the diesel! But, if I want to look at other landrovers I'll either go to the dealer or make use of Sainsburys car park!

I think FFRR drivers are all a bit 'above' that kind of thing. or is it just me? Cool Discovery 4 HSE

I think thats why there are so few forum members to be honest - most are probably too busy running their own companies...or ski' ing, shootin, huntin...

Perhaps if people want to attend their events, they could either contact them and get an official invite for ffrr members or we just turn up like a huge posse and gatecrash!!!!!! ( All 5 members Rolling with laughter )

Having looked at the rrs sister site, the Guys at CHPR seem to organise a meet at their dealership - perhaps an invite could be arranged through them speedymark?

On a side note and perhaps this should be a seperate thread but What can be done to create more members and of the existing members encourage them to be more active on the site or do we like the cosyness of our little forum?
