one for you technical types. what are your thoughts on removing the EGR (Exhaust Gas Recirculation)? I have heard tell that it makes the valve and associated solenoid chamber fill with cr4p, and removing them increases power since only pure air is then introduced into the cylinder.

What neg effects might this have on the engine?

If you remove the EGR valve it will affect the MAF and cause the vehicle to go into limp home mode. Best to clean it out and refit it.



There is actually a way to remove them but you have to let the ECU think that it's still connected
