What does this button do?

Couldn't find anything in the handbook and when pressing it nothing seems to happen?

It locks the deployable steps in or out for cleaning/jacking etc

engages vertical thrust, or , its for the steps..... ... - .- -.

You are all wrong. The clue is with the arrow on the actual button. Look closely at it

In actual fact, when you press the button, it jettisons all the engine component seals and filler plugs and oil will start everywhere for the next 2 years until you can take no more and buy another one
