The Fox

Thought it was about time I posted something here.

Picture taken today by the dealer while I was off drinking tea somewhere.

The old and the new. Smile

Will put more up when I get chance.
Just got the old ones on old reg, but most of you have seen those from the advert selling my old Td6 which went off topic...

Thanks Tim, I think it's grand black but I can't be sure. It's got a deep black gloss to it, can't see any wood grain.

While my favorite colour is Cairns Blue, the grey is growing on me. The fact that the grilles and door handles are not usually colour coded but now are make it look nice as they kind of blend in with the grey. Thumbs Up

I was quite happy with smaller wheels on the last one, but the 20s it came on I'm liking too. Embarassed

I just have the OEM supplied 19's and was going to put my set of Stormers on but after the mud last weekend the 19's are very easy to clean in the back of without removing the wheels, unlike the Stormers. Shiney black which looks almost like Bakelite is also Grand Black 2018 Mini Countryman Cooper S E All4 PHEV in Melting Silver - it’s whisper quiet in EV and polluter modes

Well, first week of ownership and first 513 miles driven.
Fuel consumption worked out at 29.1mpg in real terms or 29.2mpg according to the display. So not far out.
More than I thought as I am getting used to it and got stuck in London for three hours.

I was averaging 30.4 in the Td6 towards the end but that had gone up a bit as the engine went past 50k miles.
So while it's not the end of the world compared to the cost of the car, I may see 30mpg one day... Rolling Eyes

The reduced noise over the Td6 has thrown up a small problem. I can hear squeaks better...
Just got to fix the seat belt buckle squeaking against the leather of the drivers seat and it will be very nice and quiet.

I'm liking it very much. Thumbs Up

Found it's got the USB iPod thing in the glovebox too, so I can use that or the CD player. Smile

And it's quick! Whistle
