fitting new auxiliary coolant pump

has anyone here replaced the auxiliary coolant pump by yourself - I want to replace mine but would like to know how to go about it

Whistle Err Stan, buddy I think he's talking about the electrically powered remote pump that boosts the water flow at low speeds, I think it might be a FBH thing, but I don't know as I haven't got one Wink Yesterday I couldn't spell Engineer... Today I are one!

its actually the one for the supercharger, which sits next to the radiator and behind/below the power steering fluid container

has the pump failed cos there are posts saying that some pumps are wired up backwards causing the pump to turn the wrong way... ... - .- -.
