United Kingdom 2006 Range Rover Vogue SE Td6 Java Black
ABS Modulator

Anyone ever had this fail on their FFLR?

Had the HDS Christmas Lights and suspension lowered and after all manner of testing and diagnostics the garage has concluded that the Modulator is FUBAR'd. Even sent it to a repair chap but that didn't work. New one is £850!

Warranty Direct saying that this isnt a covered part which has Censored me off no end.

Anyone else had this problem? Could it be something simpler?

Many thanks!

England 2014 Range Rover Autobiography SDV8 Loire Blue

Not unheard of for them to go faulty, usually repairable, use someone well known though like BBA reman http://www.bba-reman.com/uk/index.aspx

If not, get one off eBay... also check..

There has been an issue with the wiring plug to it, so much so that JLR offer a repair short loom with a plug and the first foot of the loom... Is the plug in good shape?? Pete

what codes are showing ?

I had a well respected independent tell me I needed a new abs module for about £1500 fitting , turned out a wrong spec abs sensor had been fitted and they couldn't even diagnose that !

get the codes and post them on here and you may get a pleasant surprise
