I have just signed up to the forum having purchased a 57 plate TDV8 Vogue. It's black with cream leather and has 87K on the clock. I will hopefully collect on Saturday morning.
This is my forth LR product, having had a Series 2a, a RR Classic, a D3 and this one. I will also mention recently getting rid of a 2005 Jaguar XK8 4.2 as it's a distant cousin to the Landies.
Anyway, great to be back in the fold and looking forward many trouble free motoring miles to come Rolling with laughter

Crispy2, visited Perth WA in Feb to visit my Brother who has emigrated there, spectacular part of the world.

Three more sleeps is right, quite excited, bit like Xmas.

Alistair, I read that thread when I was looking as part of my research, nothing untoward seems to apply to this vehicle but you just don't know I suppose, so thanks. I did get burnt (1st degree burns) with my D3 actually, so finger's crossed with this one. It's funny that even when you know these vehicles suffer from these problems, it doesn't stop you from jumping in again feet first. Bit like the definition of insanity being to repeat the same act over again but expect a different result.

Hello all,

I collected my new car today. Great to waft back from Worcester to Leicester and great to be back in the fold.
All seems to be in order apart from a few small blemishes here and there.
Silly little things like the door handle paint thinning. I see that you can buy a new set of handle covers from eBay cheaply enough.
Some pictures to follow as soon as I figure out how to do it........

Welcome to the "club".

There is lots of great info on here about them lots of stuff to get your teeth into. Hopefully you won't have a lot of trouble with it, but as a starter for 10 change the top intercooler hoses, takes 5 mins on the drive costs £50-60 and won't then leave you stranded.
