I know I’m about to make the biggest mistake of my life and risk the chance that my ten year old may not speak to me again but here we go anyway.
Tentatively for sale is my 1977 Series 3 rag Top known as ‘Peggy’, as named by her previous owners. We’ve been custodian of her for nearly three years during which time I’ve had a Fairy Overdrive fitted and new ‘luxury’ interior. She’s wanted for nothing and is 100% mechanically perfect and about 95% cosmetically perfect. No rust, non-galvanized chassis but it’s perfect. Period badges, lamps etc.
She spent the first 30 years of her life on an estate ferrying the ‘Gentlemen’ to the shoot and back so has Low mileage at approx... 40K – I’ll check the exact figure later.
Only reason I’m selling is because the Oil industry is on the bones of its arse and I’m pre-empting another layoff and time at home.
