Big block and a 4-speed manual. Nice combination. |

There are very few American motors I would own.

thanks Bellini; I have never been into corvettes, until I saw a few on a expo a few weeks ago and decided that the only one I liked was the LT1 1970. Yesterday evening I stumbled over this one on Classiccars for sale and fell in love. It's horrible...life is so tough |

You're right at the end of the great muscle car era there. 1971 was the last year of true performance and then things became somewhat strangled after that.

Surely Robert, if it's in good condition... It's priced correctly and by that I mean priced according to the age, Milage & condition! Surely it's a no brainer... Buy it, keep it right, sell it when you have had your fun for the same if not more money!

Thanks Bellini, it is indeed the last year of the big block performance and had great test reports at the time. This one seems to be OK. They offered to bring it down for 750 gbp pay at arrival or if not according to description take it back.

Very kind of you 47P. The only saloon I would like to buy would be a Jaguar Mk 5 or a MG SA. The Rover is a very nice quality car but not really my cup of tea.

Not my cup of tea, but I know they have a following. Enjoy. It sound like you'll have a lot of fun with it. |
